When we start working together it'll look a little like this...
Getting Started
After you fill out the Hire Me! form you'll get a response from me pretty quickly. I'm on the computer a lot. I'll confirm the information, my availability, and I'll send over my intake packet with contract, forms and invoice.
Prep
We'll schedule either a face-to-face meetup or Skype session, whichever is most convenient, to start planning your awesome new website and branding package. You'll pick a desired start date (as soon as I'm available or reserve a later date). You'll fill out the project questionnaire and send over inspiration examples of like while I'll start my research and brainstorming.
Design
I'll start building your website and branding immediately. No wireframes of photoshop mockups. You'll have a live-ish site (you and I can see it, the public can't) to review, not pictures. Soon I'll send over some logo sketches for you to review. When the mockups are complete, you'll review them and sign off (or make slight changes if they are needed).
Your website is coming to life, and it’s wonderful.
Coding and Review
Along with basic design principles I'll be custom coding your site to make it truly unique to you. During this process, you’ll approve different bits as we go. The more you are available, the faster your site will be complete!
Hand off
When it's all said and done I'll package all of your files into an organized folder, send them over, and hand off the website to you. That's it. You're ready to start dominating the internet.
Training
After delivery of your new site I'll send over some brief instructions and we'll either schedule a couple one-on-one or Skype training sessions. You'll know that it's totally OK to e-mail or call me with any questions about your new site and you'll know you won't be left abandoned.

+ How long does it take?
A typical site and branding package usually takes between 2-4 weeks. It really just depends upon the project, how well prepared you are and how easy it is to contact you during the design process. I can give you a better idea of my schedule once you fill out the Hire Me form.
+ What's a branding package?
A branding package is simply a cohesive and consistant "look" for a company or business. Logo, fonts and colors. Think Coca-Cola and their script logo... no matter what ad campaign their running at the time, from polar bears to happy people jumping around, that script logo with white and bright red stay constant.
+ How much will it cost?
Less than you would think and definitely worht the investment! For sure not as much as a big design firm's costs.
+ What will you use to build my website?
I work 100% with Squarespace
Squarespace is quickly becoming the new Wordpress of building websites with the added features of a completely supported backend (that means no theme and plugin updates) and it's very easy for customers to learn how to use their new site.
This means you can edit content, add pages/photos/videos easily on your own. I'm always available to help if you need it though!
+ What if I need something that's not listed above?
When you complete the HIRE ME form, be sure to mention the details in the questionnaire. We’ll discuss the extra functionality and I’ll provide a custom quote..
+ What are the hidden fees?
No hidden fees.
There will be 2 other primary fees associated with a website.
Domain name: Domain names run from $6-15 per year. You will need to renew this each year to keep it yours.
Hosting: This is the server where your website lives and allows the internet to find and display your site. This costs from $16-120 per year. Squarespace requires you host your site through them but that's one of the key beneifits of using their service. They'll take care of you 100%
+ What about SEO?
All of my sites are built using SEO best practices.
+ Will my website be mobile-friendly?
It will be more than mobile friendly. Your site will be RESPONSIVE which means it will adapt to whatever device your customer is viewing it on. This looks WAY better to Google, and works way better, than having both a regular website and a mobile website.
