I'm Cody Patey, owner of Patey Designs. I'm a web designer, fifth generation graphic designer, and a native Oregonian that loves to work with entrepreneurs and small businesses. I’m also a Squarespace Authorized Trainer. I believe that purpose driven design should be the forefront of every business, large or small, and that really awesome websites take a company to the next level.

 I grew up, very literally, in my family's traditional sign shop watching previous generations create stand-out and recognizable signage and some of my earliest memories are of watching my grandpa map out lettering by hand the way his grandfather did.

I founded Patey Designs to utilize the wealth of experience in my family's five generations of business history to elevate my clients' online presence, graphic identity, and marketing strategies. 

I'm a serial entrepreneur at heart, our dog Leelu is named after The Fifth Element movie, Loial’s name is from the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan (and I say goodbye to Leelu, Loial, and Lizi, our other dog, like they're people in the morning), I play a mean harmonica, MSTK3 is my favorite show of all time..and Mel Brooks movies, I think I would die without daily large amounts of coffee, Ernest Scared Stupid gave me nightmares as a kid, and my favorite color is orange......go figure.
